Custom pricing lets you give a particular customer their own price for a product, without changing what everyone else pays. It is ideal for trade accounts, regular buyers and contract customers. Here is how to set a special price for a customer.
From the CRMit menu, open Product List and open the product you want to price for a specific customer.
On the product, open the Customer Prices tab. This is where you record the special prices that apply to individual customers for this product.
Add a new customer price and choose the customer it is for. You can add a separate price for each customer who should pay something different from your standard rate.
Enter the special net price for that customer, along with the quantity it applies to if you price by volume. CRMit will use this price for that customer instead of the standard one.
Save your changes. From now on, when you add this product to that customer's quote, order or invoice, their agreed price is used automatically. You can review every special price you have set from the Product Custom Price list.
Tip: Custom prices are perfect for trade or contract customers. Set them once and your team never has to remember to apply a discount by hand.
With special prices in place, you can keep building your catalogue or wrap a customer's agreed prices into an ongoing contract.
