If you sell physical products, CRMit can track how many you hold, where they are and how many are already promised to orders. Keeping stock accurate means you always know what you can sell. Here is how to manage it.
From the CRMit menu, open Stock Location List. Stock control needs to be turned on for a product before it appears here, which you set when you add the product.
The Stock Location List shows the quantity held for each product at each of your stock locations, so you can see at a glance what is where.
Open Stock Transaction List to record stock moving in and out. Click New Stock Transaction to add one, choosing the product, the location and the quantity. You can also use Move / Split Stock to shift stock between locations.
Open Reserved Stock List to see stock that is already held for sales orders. Reserved stock is set aside so it is not sold twice, and each line shows which order it is linked to.
After a stock count, record a transaction to bring the system in line with what you actually have on the shelf. This keeps your available quantities correct for the next sale.
Tip: Reserved stock shows what is already promised to orders, so the quantity you can still sell is your on-hand stock minus anything reserved. Check it before promising more to a customer.
With your stock under control, you can keep your catalogue up to date and take orders that reserve stock automatically.
