When a supplier bill lands, you may want to capture it quickly and check the detail later. A purchase draft lets you record a bill now and finalise it once you have confirmed the supplier and lines. It is especially handy for scanned bills. Here is how to work with drafts.
From the CRMit menu, under Purchases, open the Purchase Draft List. This shows purchases you have captured but not yet finalised.
Add a new draft, or start one from a scanned supplier bill. Capturing it as a draft means you can deal with the detail without holding up the rest of your day.
Confirm the details are right:
Save the draft so it stays in the list. You can come back and finish it whenever you have the information you need.
Once everything checks out, finalise the draft to turn it into a purchase and keep your costs up to date.
Tip: Drafts are great for scanned bills you will check later. Capture them as they arrive so nothing gets lost, then finalise them in a batch when it suits you.
Once a draft is finalised you can record it as a full purchase, or raise a purchase order for what you need next.
